While the country has been suffering from continuing instability for the past decades, this situation has been largely aggravated by the multiple crises that have occurred since the last quarter of 2019. The massive explosion in Beirut\u2019s port, the Covid-19 global pandemic and successive lockdowns, rising political instability and the economic collapse have contributed to the rise of extreme poverty in the country.<\/p>\n<p>This situation is affecting the livelihoods of groups in the population that were already vulnerable.
