Goals

In 2008, the Orange Foundation signed a partnership agreement with PPI to support women’s financial empowerment through its Project for the Promotion of Women’s Entrepreneurship in Cameroon. This project aims at increasing women’s awareness on the issue of financial education and the relevance of training in the management of income-generating activities. PPI supported the implementation of educational contents of the 10 digital houses installed in the Women and Family Promotion Centres (CPFF).

Beneficiaries

  • 20 trainers from partner CPFFs and ASBY trained to conduct the training
  • Women in the 10 communes and their families i.e. 7 200 people
